A workshop meeting of the Town Commission was called to order by Mayor Horton
on September 12, 1970 at 10:00 A. M. All Commissioners were present except
Vice Mayor Vedder, who was out of Town. Also present were several Townspeople.
Mayor Horton turned the meeting over to the Ta.x committee, Mr. King Cayce, who
raised a number of points for discussion. This information will help him in
drawing up his tax report.
Comm. Jurisch explained some facts contained in the preliminary water plant
expansion report from Brockway, Owen andAnderson. Discussion took place on
the water plant expected income a.nd financing the expansion program.
When the final"'~~sessments figures a.re received, further meetings will be
held.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:30 A. M.
