MINUTES: WORKSHOP MEETING of the Town Commission, December 18, 1974.
At 3:30 P.M., Mayor Gilday called the meeting to order and a copy of
the Notice, agenda for the meeting, is attachment "A".

Ze Town Manager and the following Byrd Beach Property
Scofield, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Ellenberger,
P. Jornayvaz, and Mr. James Schubert.
Also present were other residents in the Town.
Mayor Gilday advised that the Town Commission would discuss cable TV
until Attorney Becker, the Town's counsel in a pending litigation with
S. A. Healy Company, and representatives of Healy arrive for discussion
of a proposal to be made in this matter.
Mayor Gilday advised that the Planning Commission has held their Public
Hearing and heard Leadership Corp. in their request for a TV Cable
Franchise.
At this point of time, Attorney Becker appeared and the Mayor advised
that the Cable Franchise will be discussed at the Workshop Meeting
scheduled for January 2, 1975.
Principals representing interests of S. A. Healy Company were: Wesley G.
Carey and David L. Swimmer, Attorneys-in-Fact, and their Architect,
Mr. Roy Simon.
The Town's attorney advised that the discussion could not be used in
settlement of the litigation if the matter proceeds to the Court; therefore,
all parties agreed and he advised that there be no further tape of the
meeting.
There was discussion for approximately 1-1/2 hours.
Attorney Becker will contact the Van Lennep family and report to the Town
Commission. Unless advised to the contrary, allrsons pre nt were
informed that the meeting will be resumed at 1¢: A.M., De;~'ember 27, 1974.
