1975.11.25_TC_Minutes_Special • TOWN OF HIGHLAND BEACH, FLORIDA Minutes of Meeting of Town Commission Special Meeting November 25, 1975 11.25 A.M. Meeting called to order by Mayor Morton E. Gilday at 11:25 A.M. The Mayor announced that there would be several points of business to be accomplished today. Present were: Mayor Morton E. Gilday Vice Mayor Leslie W. Joy Commissioner Ruth E. Mumford Commissioner Harry Bauer Commissioner Robert D. Clark The Mayor advised the Commission that apparently the bond for the Sewer System, $350,000, has not expired. Discussion between the • Mayor and Mr. Drasal followed. dir. Drasal shall obtain a letter from the Bonding Company, confirming same. Mr. Sliney took this time to discuss and report on the proposed agreements between the Utility Company and the Town. Further discussion followed regarding the warranties on the equipment, 'that are to be accepted by the Town. BILLS FOR APPROVAL The Finance Director presented the bills for approval to the Town Commission. Discussion followed relative to the bill from Underground Supply Company, Inc. The Mayor instructed Mrs. Roberts to inform Underground that the Town is holding up payment because of the question of possible overruns and as soon as Webb completes their work the Town will be able to determine what monies are available. The Mayor stated that anything over and above the contract amount, the suppliers will have • to look to the bonding company for. c: Minutes Highland Beach Town Commission Regular Meeting November 25, 1975 Page 2 of 2 The Mayor called for a motion that these bills be approved and paid MOTION by Vice Mayor Joy /Commissioner Bauer: "So move." Roll Call on the Motion Carried unanimously. Mrs. Mumford called to the attention of the Commission that she had seen trucks on the bike hike path. Mrs. Roberts stated that she will again instruct the Chief to have his men be more aware of the activities along the path. Mrs. Mumford also spoke about the dredging along AIA across from the Ambassadors site north of Holiday Inn. Mrs. Roberts reported on the status of the temporary building at Ambassador's site 1. Mr. Manguria,n has applied for use of temporary structure under the zoning and was issued a permit for same. • Being no further business to come before the ADJOURNED a,t 12:15 P.M.
