1980.02.12_TC_Minutes_Regular TOWN OF HIGHLAND BEACH, FLORIDA Minutes of Meeting of Town Commission Public Hearing February 12, 1980 11:20 A.M. Mayor Horton called the Public Hearing to order at 11:20 A.M., stating that it had been duly advertised in the Sun Sentinel on Thursday, January 10, 1980. Those in attendance were: Mayor Horton, Vice Mayor Storm and Commissioners Bauer, Blosser and Genovese. Also in attendance were Elaine W. Roberts, Town Manager, Thomas E, Sliney, Town Attorney, and Jane E. Barker, Town Clerk. Mayor Horton stated that the purpose of this Public Hearing was as follows: Consideration of a request for a special exception under Section 5.9 (g) of Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Highland Beach, Florida, made by G. W. Consultants, Inc., for Town Lots 110, 111, 112, 113 West. • Mrs. Roberts gave a brief resume of this request and just what it involved.. Commissioner Genovese asked whether the Planning Commission had approved this and was informed that they had. Mr. Hamzik, Building Official, also approved it. MOTION by Commissioner Genovese and seconded by Vice Mayor Storm that the request for special exception be given approval. All Commissioners voted Aye in favor of this MOTION. Mayor Horton stated that the purpose for which the Public Hearing had been called had been accomplished and the meetin}a~ ADJOURNED at 11:26 A. M.
