Mayor Horton called the Public Hearing to order at 5:01 P. M. Those in attendance were: Mayor Louis Y. Horton, Vice Mayor Mary Louise G. Blosser, Commissioner John J. Basso, and Commissioner Edward J. Sullivan. Commissioner Harry Walker was absent. Also in attendance were: Elaine W. Roberts, Town Manager and Jane E. Barker, Town Clerk. There were several people in the audience. The Public Hearing Notice was read into the record and the ad appeared in the Sun-Sentinel Newspaper on August 9 and August 25, 1982, pertaining to the two proposed ordinances: (1) Regarding site-plan one year limit; (2) Partial building moratorium ordinance. Mayor Horton asked for public comments on each item from those present who wished to comment. Mr. Milani commented on his site plan approval regarding phase one and phase two. Peter Whiting (representing ITCO Properties) asked if there would still be further discussion and study before the ordinances were passed. Michael Dent asked, does the exact date that the time limit begins start with the site plan approval. Dr. Orman, representing Mr. Milani, objected to the moratorium ordinance giving the reasons that this would force his client to rush his plans through, thus doing a disservice to the project and to the community. Mayor Horton explained the normal procedure of how a Town ordinance is passed. There being no further comments or questions from those present, the Public Hearing was adjourned at 5:20 P. M. • The next Public Hearing was announced: Tuesday, August 31, 1982, at 5:01 P. M. at Town Hall, 3634 S. Ocean Boulevard, Highland Beach, Florida 33431, with notices available on the table. • Page 2 Of 2 APPROVED • ~ ~ er+n/ Mayo is Y. Horton ~w,.~ Vice Ma or Mary ouise G.
