Request, Facts, and Analysis
The applicant is proposing to remove the existing wooden dock, batter piles, seawall cap and
boatlift and install a new 62'10" precast seawall, seawall cap, batter piles, king piles and
52'10" concrete dock and reinstall the boatlift.
The existing boatlift will be removed during construction and reinstalled after the dock and
seawall are completed.
Staff recommends the Planning Board forward a recommendation of approval to the Town
Commission for the proposed installation of a new 62'10" precast seawall, seawall cap, batter
pilings and 52'10" concrete dock at 1100 B Highland Beach Drive subject to the following
conditions:
1. Following recommendation by the Planning Board, the seawall will be reviewed by
the Town Commission and prior to initiation of construction, the applicant will be
required to obtain a building permit from the Town of Highland Beach Building
Department.
2. Building Permits will not be issued by the Town until all required federal, state,
county or other applicable governmental approvals and permits have been obtained.
The Building Official and Town Planner have reviewed the application and submitted
documents and hereby certifies the following action was taken:

requirements, but must be reviewed by the Town Commission prior to issuance of
building permits.
