Kaufman of Dalton Place all addressed the Commission.
• Mr. Sliney stated that the situation of a Temporary C/O could
not go on forever and since the interested parties could not
come to any agreement, he felt that the burden of a decision
would have to be up to the Town Commission.
Vice Mayor Storm spoke with high praise for the Community
Appearance Board and felt their opinions in this should be
followed, or at least a compromise reached. Commissioner
Basso offered his comments regarding safety. Commissioner
Blosser said that the Community Appearance Board should have
a stronger criteria.
Mayor Horton then spoke, saying that he thought there were
two specific problems which the Commission must address; one,
being the immediate problem concerning the temporary Certif-
icate of Occupancy at Dalton Place and the other, what has to
be done in the future in order that a matter like this does
not come up again.
Much discussion ensued with different thoughts and solutions
being offered. Commissioner Basso suggested lighting up to
just the first story and Mr. Sliney thought this would be a
• good idea.
