Minutes of Meeting of Town Commission
• SPECIAL MEETING
Wednesday. November 16 ,_ 1.98.3_ _ 1:30 P.M.
A Special Meeting of the Town Commission was called to order by Mayor
Louis Y. Horton at 1:30 p.m. in the Town Commission Chambers at Town
Hall. Also present were Vice Mayor Mary Louise G. Blosser, Commissioners
William E. Paul and Betty Jean Stewart. Commissioner Harry Walker was
absent.
Also present were Town Attorney, Thomas E. Sliney; Town Manager, Elaine W.
Roberts; Town Clerk, Mary Ann Vrhaley; citizens and the general public.
This Special Meeting was called for two specific purposes, the first of
which involved the status of the Coronado project. Leonard Mass, Vice
President of Trafalgar Developers was present and discussed several
written complaints received by the Town from residents of Seagate, in-
cluding the lighting and general aesthetic appearance of the garage
area and the noise made by the pump at the pool. Vice Mayor Blosser
raised the point that Section 5.9 (b) of Chapter 30 of the Code had not
been complied with and should be considered. Mr. Mass expressed a desire
• to work with the Town in the alleviation of these complaints and a field
trip was scheduled for the Town Commission to inspect the project for
Friday, November 18, x.983 at 2:00 p.m. The Town Commission would also make
an inspection at night to view the lighting of the Coronado project.
The second purpose of the Special Meeting was to d~acuss the s~atus of
the Delray Beach/Highland Beach Sewer Issue. The Mayor reported that the
mediators as appointed by Highland Beach and Delray Beach had submitted
a report and would submit further information prior to any action being
t aken on the report by the Town Commission.
There being no further business, the meeting as adjourned at 2:20 p.m.
