1983.10.11_TC_Minutes_Special (2)r TOWN OF HIGHLAND BEACH, FLORIDA Minutes of Meeting of Town Commission • PUBLIC HEARING ON THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN Tues. October 11, 1983 5.01 P M A Public Hearing called for the purpose of receiving citizen input into the proposed Comprehensive Plan was called to order by Mayor Louis Y. Horton at 5:01 p.m. Also in attendance were Vice Mayor Mary Louise G. Blosser, Commissioners William E. Paul and Betty Jean Stewart. Commissioner Harry Walker was absent. Also present were: Planner Ron Hoggard of Gee and Jenson; Town Attorney Thomas E. Sliney; Town Manager Elaine W. Roberts; Town Clerk Mary Ann Whaley; citizens and the general public. Attorney Daniel James, and Dr. Richard Orman, representing Mr. C. D. Milani and the Trustees of Lots 4 and 5 East and 4 and 6 West in Highland Beach addressed the Town Commission expressing opposition to the downzoning of Mr. Milani's property. Attorney Sliney indicated that due to the Planning Commission's failure to submit their tentative report re zoning to the Torn • Commission, the timing of the adoption of the zoning could be delayed until after the 1st of January. Discussion regarding a proposed Ordinance adopting the Comprehensive Plan will be scheduled for the October 25, 1983 Workshop Meeting. There being no further business the pu lic hearing adjourned at 5:25 pm.
