1983.06.28_TC_Minutes_Regular0 TOWN OF HIGHLAND BEACH, FLORIDA TOWN MANAGER Tuesday, June 28, 1983 PUBLIC MEETING 1:00 P.M. A public hearing, as advertised and required by law, was called to order in theCommission Chambers of the Highland Beach Town Hall by Town Manager, Elaine W. Roberts. The purpose of this hearing was to receive citizen input regarding anticipated Federal Revenue Sharing Funds for fiscal year 1983/84 (approximately $10,000). Present, in addition to Mrs. Roberts, were Vice Mayor Mary Louise G. Blosser, and Lil Cohen and Marge Mantell representing the Friends of the Library. A request was received from the representatives of the Friends of the Library that $9,999 be used for library needs such as another typewriter, tables, books, etc. Vice Mayor Blosser recommended that the funds be used for any short- fall, if needed, in the 1982/83 budget. ' There were no other persons desiring to be heard on the matter, and therefore, the public hearing was adjourned at 1:10 p.m. APPROVED: l Elaine W.
