1984.02.16_TC_Minutes_Workshop TOWN OF HIGHLAND BEACH, FLORIDA Minutes of Meeting of Town Commission RECESSED WORKSHOP TO REVIEW PROPOSED ZONING REVISIONS 'I'3iursday, February 16, 1984 1:00 P.M. A Recessed Meeting to review the proposed Zoning Revisions was called to order by Vice Mayor Mary Louise G. Blosser at 1:10 p.m. in the Town Commission Chambers. Also present were Comm- issioners William E. Paul, Betty Jean Stewa~'t, and Harry Walker. Mayor Louis Y. Horton was absent. Also present were Town Attorney Thomas E. Sliney; Town Manager Elaine W. Roberts; Town Clerk Mary Ann Whaley; citizens and the general public. The Town Commission continued its discussion regarding the proposed zoning revisions as recommended by the Planning Commission in a tentative report, focusing mainly on the powers and duties of the Community Appearance Board and Planning Commission. Substantial discussion was held regarding the criteria and scope of duties of the CAB and it was the general consensus that this matter be studied further with a view toward the setting out of specific duties of each of the respective boards. The Town Commission expressed the fact that the use of units for sales models should only be for original sales and not for re-sale purposes and that this fact be expressed in the zoning ordinance.
