like to join with the Town Commission in hosting a "Holiday Open House"
for Town residents at the Town Hall Complex where cookies and punch
would be served. Following a brief discussion, the other Members stated
their feeling was that the Town Commission should not be involved in
this "Holiday Open House", citing factors such as expense, parking and
the possibility of non-residents attending such function.

No report.
Commissioner Doris R. Rome
No report.
Commissioner Marvin A. Waldman
Commissioner Waldman reported that, following the discussion at the last
Workshop Meeting regarding a salary increase for elected officials, he
had given the matter some thought and his feeling is that each elected
• official should receive the same increase in salary so as to avoid the
possibility of persons filing for elected office due to the monies
involved rather than dedication to such office. Vice Mayor Basso and
Commissioner Rome also expressed apprehension with regard to the
proposed ordinance relating to this issue. This matter will be
discussed further at the November Workshop Meeting when all Commission
Members will be in attendance.
