2005.04.19_BAA_Minutes_Regular• TOWN OF HIGHLAND BEACH BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT QUARTERLY MEETING • Tuesdav, April 19, 2005 9.30 A M Chairperson Joseph Sarubbi called the Quarterly Meeting to order in Commission Chambers at 9:30 A.M. Deputy Town Clerk Jane Dillon called the roll. Present were Vice Chair Merton Rubin, Joseph Yucht, Barbara Eagel and Jack Halpern. Michael Hill and Peter Corrales were absent. Also in attendance were Building Official Bob Dawson and Town Attorney Tom Sliney. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Upon MOTION by MR. YUCHT/MRS. EAGEL, the following sets of minutes were unanimously approved: January 18, 2005 Quarterly February 1, 2005 Workshop March 1, 2005 Public Hearing OLD/NEW BUSINESS Mr. Dawson presented a current update on the Azure property at 3200 S. Sarubbi, Chairman Board of Adjustment At a public hearing on March 1, 2005, the Board of Adjustment heard a request to reduce the setback from ten (10) feet to five (5) feet on Town Code Chapter 30, Section 68, (F) (1) A, Swimming Pools. After the hearing, members of the Board requested that I go to the Town Commission meeting to request a review be made to the Town Code on Swimming Pools from 10 feet to 5 feet where there is no impediment to neighbors, open pool and particularly towards • water such as the Intracoastal. The Town Commissioners requested that I submit this request in writing to the Planning Board for their consideration. Respectfully submitted, oseph A.
