BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
WORKSHOP MEETING
Tuesday, February 1, 2005 9:30 A.M.
Chairperson Joseph Sarubbi called the Workshop Meeting to order in
Commission Chambers at 9:30 a.m.
Deputy Town Clerk Jane Dillon called the roll. Present were Vice
Chair Merton Rubin, Joseph Yucht. Peter Corrales, Jack Halpern and
Michael Hill. Barbara Eagel was absent. Also in attendance was
Building Official Bob Dawson and Town Attorney Tom Sliney.
This meeting was called to hear the following Variances.
NO. 02-05-85. REQUEST SUBMITTED BY ALLAN M. & KAREN s.
GOLDSTEIN FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4307 INTRACOASTAL DRIVE,
BEL LIDO; LOT 2, BLOCK 4.
SEEKING RELIEF FROM TOWN CODE OF ORDINANCES CHAPTER 30,
SECTION 68 [SUPPLEMENTAL DISTRICT REGULATIONS] ; ( f ) (1) a;
SWIMMING POOLS.
REQUESTING: REDUCE REAR SETBACK FROM TEN (10) FEET TO FIVE
• (5) FEET.
Randi Schatz presented application to the Board, noting that lot
narrows on side where pool will be located, and in keeping with the
size of existing new houses in the area, the additional setback is
needed in order to place the pool appropriately.
Mr. Goldstein, owner was also present to answer any questions.
Public Hearing was scheduled for March 1 at 9:30 a.m.
With no further business to come before the Board, Motion to adjourn
was made by Mr. Halpern/Mr. Coralles at 10:00 a.m.
