Chairperson Barbara Kane called the Workshop Meeting to order in Commission Chambers at 9:30 A.M. Deputy Town Clerk Jane Dillon called the roll. Present were Chairperson Kane, Vice-Chair Betty Jane Hofstadter, Secretary Joseph A. Sarubbi and members Rosalind Gatewood and Joseph Yucht. Also present were Attorney Thomas E.Sliney, Building Official Bob Dawson and members of the general public. Chairperson Kane read into the record the following variances which would be heard today. Anyone who would be testifying was sworn in. NO. O1-02-69. REQUEST SUBMITTED BY KADO TUNDISI FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4112 S. OCEAN BLVD., LOT 39; OWNER KADO TUNDISI. SEEKING RELIEF FROM TOWN CODE OF ORDINANCES CHAPTER 30, ARTICLE IV [ZONING DISTRICTS]; SECTION 64 [PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS]; TABLE 30- 2. • REQUESTING: REDUCE FRONT SETBACK FROM 40 FEET TO 25 FEET AT EAST SIDE OF LOT, AND REDUCE SIDE SETBACK FROM 25 FEET TO 20 FEET AT SOUTH SIDE OF LOT. Attorney Ken Hirsh was present to discuss application as well as Mr. Tundisi. It was noted that current property is an old multi- family dwelling which was probably a motel at one time. Mr. Tundisi would like to demo existing building and construct a single family house. Mr. Dawson noted that the existing building is an existing non-conformity. The second variance to be heard today was read into the record as follows: NO. 01-02-70. REQUEST SUBMITTED BY JEFF NORMAN, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4104 S. OCEAN BLVD., LOT 44; JHN PROPERTIES, INC. SEEKING RELIEF FROM TOWN CODE OF ORDINANCES CHAPTER 30, ARTICLE IV [ZONING DISTRICTS]; SECTION 64 [PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS]; TABLE 30- 2. RE UESTING: A PARTIAL REDUCTION OF THE FRONT SETBACK FROM 40 FEET TO 25 FEET. Mr. Jeff Norman and his attorney Jeffrey Levine were present to discuss subject variance, which is similar in nature to the • proceeding variance. Mr. Norman plans to demo existing old motel type structure and replace it with a duplex structure. • Board of Adjustment Workshop Meeting January 29 2002 Paae 2 of 2 A public hearing was scheduled for Wednesday, February 27, 9:30 a.m., at which time the Board will review applications and a decision will be rendered at that time.
