ADMINISTRATIVE MEETING

An Administrative Meeting of the Town Commission was held at 4:00
P.M. in the Conference Room at Town Hall. Present were Mayor
Joseph A. Boulay, Vice Mayor Bill Paul, Commissioners Arlin
Voress, Arthur Eypel, John F. Rand, Town Attorney Thomas E. Sliney
and Town Manager Mary Ann Mariano.
The Town Manager gave a brief verbal synopsis of various meetings
held last week with regard to the Hoffmann/Broadview Litigation.
The Administrative Meeting adjourned at 4:45 P.M.

PUBLIC HEARING
Frida.y September 06, 1991 5:01 P.M.
Mayor „oseph A. Boulay called the advertised Public Hearing of the
Town Commission of the Town of Highland Beach, Florida, to order
in the Town Hall Commission Chambers at 5:01 P.M. Others present
were Commissioners Arlin Voress, Arthur Eypel and John F. Rand.
Vice Mayor Bill Paul was absent.
Also present were Town Manager Mary Ann Mariano, Finance Director
Michael Seaman, Town Clerk Anne M. Kowals and members of the
genera-? public.
Mayor- Boulay noted the advertised Public Hearing was called for
the ~>urpose of giving the general public an opportunity to give
input into the 1991j92 fiscal year budget for the Town of Highland
Beach. The Mayor requested anyone wishing to be heard, kindly
:step forward and identify themselves. It was noted this matter
has been t?bough the complete budget process which will consummate
c>n Tuesday, September 17, 1991 at 5:01 P.M. when a Public Hearing/
Special Meeting will be called to order to address this budget, as
well as other issues before the Town Commission, at which time the
public will have another opportunity to comment on said budget.
• Commissioner Rand, noting the budget is under his jurisdiction,
informed all that this budget was reviewed in depth, line by line;
it is lean and includes no merit salary increases as the Town is
tryii:~g to maintain as austere a budget as possible. The Commis-
sioner stated he attended several meetings of the Financial
Advisory Board and is pleased with their input into this budget.
Upon the Mayor's request for comments, none were forthcoming. A
MOTION (favorably received by the Members) was made by
COMl~IISSIONSR RAND/COl~IIdISSIONER VORSSS to adjourn. Mayor Boulay
adjourned the advertisied Public i-~earing at 5:06 P,I~
