A memorandum from the Building Official to the Board of Adjustment, dated June 20, 1985, advising of the request for a front yard setback reduction from 53' to 32' and a side yard setback reduction from 33' to 20' on both sides was discussed. The Building Official said he received building plans on May 28, 1985, from Vernon Investment Properties Corp. A few days later, the Building Official advised Vernon that the plans did not comply with the zoning in effect. Those plans were withdrawn and Vernon submitted a Petition for a Variance. The Board Members and the Building Official reviewed a copy of the plans and discussed the variance requests at length.
