CONSTRUCTION, INC. LOTS 8 & 9, BLOCK 1, BEL LIDO, PETITION FOR
VARIANCE.
Chairman Horton called the meeting to order at 7:38 p.m, advising this was
a Public Hearing, with due Public Notice (Attachment "A"), for the consid-
eration and discussion of the petition for variance presented by Gruenhart
Construction, Inc., Heinrich Gruenthal, President, under Section 9, Chap-
ter 30, of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Highland Beach. The re-
cording secretary called the roll. The Agenda is Attachment "A".
Present: L. Y. Horton, L. E. Brotzman, F. C. Scofield, Jr.,
R. F. Blosser, R. C. Frederick, F. J. Carberry, (Alt.).
The petition for variance, to extend the dimensions from 150' to 160'
in front, for the structure to be built on Lots 8 & 9, Block 1, Bel Lido,
was reviewed and discussed at the Workshop Meeting held on May 9, 1977,
Chairman Horton read the petition presented by Mr. Gruenthal (Attachment
"B"). Continued discussion of the petition for variance followed the
reading of letters from Eleanor and Stanley Yancheski and F. Louis Wolff,
(Attachments "C","D"). Chairman Horton indicated nineteen receipts for
Certified Letters sent to abutters by the petitioner had been received
by the Board of Adjustment.
Following a lengthy discussion, the Chairman advised the members of the
Board, that in view of the information presented at the Public Hearing
•and examined by the members of the Board of Adjustment, the Chair would
entertain a motion to the effect that the petition be denied. Mr. Brotzman
offered the motion to deny the petition for variance as presented, Col.
Scofield seconded the motion. The recording secretary polled the vote.
Mr. Blosser voted aye (for denial), Mr. Brotzman, voted aye (for denial),
Mr. Frederick voted yes on the motion offered, Col. Scofield voted yes
and Chairman Horton voted yes, on the motion offered. Chairman Horton
advised that the request for the variance was denied by unanimous vote.
There being no further business, Chairman Horton advised the Public Hearing
was adjourned a j 9:50 P.M.
