Chairman Kemper called the Public Hearing meeting to order at 3:00 p.m..
Present: Messrs. Kemper, Wernecke, Scofield, Saari and Whyte. In
audience were Messrs. Seymour and Minestine on behalf of Parker
Properties of Florida (Petitioner).
The minutes of January 10, 1974 were read and formally approved without
correction.
Chairman Kemper advised that this meeting was initiated by the members
of the Board of Adjustment to further discuss and/or consider the pre-
vious action, and take action found to be appropriate regarding the
special exception, as revised plans re -submitted by the Parker Pro-
perties of Florida.
Mr. Ed Seymour (architect) gave his statement pointing out that there
was a reduction of units (69 to 62). Mr. Larry Minestine also addressed
the Board of Adjustment.
Prolonged discussion followed:
Chairman Kemper requested that the secretary poll the members, and the
• record will show that they responded as follows:
Mr. Whyte, "in favor of special exception plan as
amended with the reduction of number of units from
69 to 62;"
Mr. Wernecke, "in favor of granting the Special
Exception with consideration of drainage to be
made;"
Mr. Scofield, "in view of the fact that 84 under-
ground parking spaces of the provided 93 required,
and with the density reduction of 10% maximum
amount per units and the small instrusion about
6% and 4% height, I am in favor of granting the
Special Exception;"
Mr. Saari, "in favor of granting the Special Ex-
ception with the reduction of density and drainage;"
and
then the Chairman stated, "in favor of granting the
Special Exception with the same consideration with
the restrictions that the landscaping be approved
by the Community Appearance Board and that they
• install sufficient drainage from the parking deck
so that it will not run into the sway of AlA."
The members of the Board were informed that the ncecessary reports will

be made to Town Commission and all concerned.
A motion was then made by Mr. Saari, seconded by Mr. Whyte to adjourn,
the meeting which ended at 3:25 p.m.
