The walkover will have a 15' long by 6' wide walkway (seaward of the Coastal Protection Zone) leading to a 32' long by 16' wide viewing platform (512 square feet) which will connect to a 55' long by 4' wide walkway, which lies east of the Coastal Construction Control Line (CCCL) . IN ACCORDANCE WITH: Conditions 1-12 and five (5) enclosed sheets. LOCATED IN• The Coastal Protection Zone at 3912 South Ocean Boulevard (Regency Highland Condominiums) , Highland Beach, Florida. It is the responsibility of the permittee to obtain all other necessary federal, state or local authorizations for the work described herein, including municipal or County building permits. 2. All exotic vegetation identified on Sheet 2 shall be removed prior to any construction. 3. The existing barren foot path area shall be filled to adjacent elevations using beach quality sand compatible with existing beach sand in grain size and coloration. 4. All vegetation identified on Sheets 3 and 4 as planted or transplanted shall be completed prior to construction. This excludes the revegetation areas which lie within the immediate construction area. Any areas which remain to be revegetated shall be completed immediately following walkover construction. 5. Project mitigation identified as Conditions 2-4 shall be inspected and approved by Department staff prior to walkover construction. 6. The mitigation area shall be monitored on a quarterly basis to maintain 80% survivorship of the plantings. A report shall be prepared during the first week of each quarter specifying the number of surviving plants and any replacement plantings effected to maintain 80% survivorship. The reports shall be submitted within one week of monitoring, to the Department. Each report shall contain at least one clear, dated, color photograph of the mitigation area. Monitoring shall continue until the Department is reasonably assured of successful establishment of 80% of the plantings tat least two years) . 7. Any irrigation utilized shall be above ground and temporary. The irrigation system shall be removed when the plants are established. 8. No project construction below the toe of dune shall occur between May 1st and October 31st in order to protect potential sea turtle nesting sites in the project area. 9. Construction of dune walkovers shall not exceed a swath of disturbance a total of 4' wider than the permitted walkover width. 10. No light fixtures shall be installed on the permitted dune walkover. 11. The permittee shall maintain the subject dune and planting areas free of exotic species i.e., Brazilian pepper, Australian pine) for the duration of this permit. Permit No. CP-505-90 Page 3 12. The walkover will have a 15' long by 6' wide walkway (seaward of the Coastal Protection Zone) leading to a 32' long by 16' wide viewing platform (512 square feet) which will connect to a 55' long by 4' wide walkway, which lies east of the Coastal Construction Control Line (CCCL) . It is the responsibility of the permittee to obtain all other necessary federal, state or local authorizations for the work described herein, including municipal or County building permits. 2. All exotic vegetation identified on Sheet 2 shall be removed prior to any construction. 3. The existing barren foot path area shall be filled to adjacent elevations using beach quality sand compatible with existing beach sand in grain size and coloration. 4. All vegetation identified on Sheets 3 and 4 as planted or transplanted shall be completed prior to construction. This excludes the revegetation areas which lie within the immediate construction area. Any areas which remain to be revegetated shall be completed immediately following walkover construction. 5. Project mitigation identified as Conditions 2-4 shall be inspected and approved by Department staff prior to walkover construction. 6. The mitigation area shall be monitored on a quarterly basis to maintain 80% survivorship of the plantings. A report shall be prepared during the first week of each quarter specifying the number of surviving plants and any replacement plantings effected to maintain 80% survivorship. The reports shall be submitted within one week of monitoring, to the Department. Each report shall contain at least one clear, dated, color photograph of the mitigation area. Monitoring shall continue until the Department is reasonably assured of successful establishment of 80% of the plantings (at least two years) . 7. Any irrigation utilized shall be above ground and temporary. The irrigation system shall be removed when the plants are established. 8. No project construction below the toe of dune shall occur between May 1st and October 31st in order to protect potential sea turtle nesting sites in the project area. 9. Construction of dune walkovers shall not exceed a swath of disturbance a total of 4' wider than the permitted walkover width. 10. No light fixtures shall be installed on the permitted dune walkover. 11. The permittee shall maintain the subject dune and planting areas free of exotic species (i.e., Brazilian pepper, Australian pine) for the duration of this permit. Permit No. CP-505-90 Page 3 12.
