Town of Highland Beach, Florida,
September 6 Held at Town Hall.
The regular monthly meeting of the Town Commission was ks't
called to order by Vice Mayor Heaton in the absence of Mayor
Totterdal.e. Present were also Comm; Dubendorff Smith and
Hertwig:
Antes of the previous meeting, L e: August 31, 191 were
read. Comm. Smith moved that they be approved as read. The
motion was seconded by Comm. Dubendorf and passed by the affirm.
_ ative vote of all four eommissioners present.
The meeting was recessed for an informal discussion of the
Miami trip of Mayor Totterdale and Comm. Hertwig to see 1r.
Harold Davis.
Comm. Hertwig suggested that some steps be taken to issue
occupational licenses and investigate the feasibility of
collecting taxes on utility bills as provided foe in the
Tom, Code.' The general feeling was againgt taking action in
these directions until some opinions could be heard from some
of the residents.
The meeting was again called to order with the same four
Commissioners id attendance.
The clerk read a letter from Mr. H. L. Cromer concerning the
earlier talks between him and members of the Town Commission;'
On motion of Comm: Dubendorff seconded by Comm: Hertwig and
voted affirmatively by all present, the clerk was order to
include the letter in the minutes of this meeting. The letter
reads as follows

financial obligation to me and to feel free to call on
G me at any time you think I may be of assistance.
