Highland Bleach Town Commission. recessed from 7/3/51 The meeting was called to order by 1­iayor Totterdal.e at 2:30 p.m Present were Comm. Dubendorff , Smith, Totterdale and Hert�rig. Uomm. elect, Harmon was absent being out of town. 1 of the Board meeting of July 3 1951, viere read and approved on motion of Comm. Smith, seconded by Comm. Dubendorff and affirmative votes of all four commissioners present. The Town Clerk reported that he had kept regular office hours at the Town Hall on July 5, 6, and 7, 1951 which were the three days follow - ing the July 3rd meeting of the Board of Equalization.. He also stated that no persons had appeared to make any protest or objection concern - 33 the Assessment Roll which as presented by the Tax Assessor on July 195 shows the assessment roll of property within the Town of Highland Beach, for the year 1951 at the following valuations: TOTAL VALUE_ OF ALL TAIA$LE REAL-PROPERTY $55$ + n n PERSONAL PROPERTY 29 TOTAL VALUE OF ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY 5 - t 3 7 . 0 VALUE OF HOMESTEAD MIMPTIONS 81 VALUE OF ALL OTHER EXEMPTIONS 1 � 000.00 GROSS TOTAL ASSE VALUE O A� F ..ts ALL y.. PRO P ERTY _P702 . MTT�TT'1`'I`J`�TT�TTT �'AT'PMTT�4" After a general review of the Assessment roll the following resolu- tion was adopted on motion of Comm. Hertwig, seconded by Comm. Smith r, and affirmative votes of all four commissioners present. RESOLUTION #21 (1951 Tax Roll) 'Whereas the Town Commission met as a Board of Equalizers at the Town Hall the Town. of Highland Beach on the 3rd and 11th days of July, 1951, and at said meetings it heard all complaints by taxpayers in reference to the assessed valuations placed on the Assessment Roll by the Town. Tax Assessor, and it was that the Tax Assessment Roll as prepared by the Tax Assessor, was fair, reasonable and Just; NOTE THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said real estate and tangible personal property tax roll for 1951, as submitted by the .Teen Tax Assessor, be and the same is.hereby equalized and adjusted as re- quired by lava, and the same is accepted as being fair, just and equal as to valuations. On motion duly made, seconded and carried, the above resolution was adopted, this 11th day of July, A.
