1984.10.03_TC_Minutes_Regular TOWN OF HIGHLAND BEACH, FLORIDA Minutes of Meeting of Town Commission PUBLIC HEARING Wednesday, October 3, 1984 1:30 P. M. A Public Hearing regarding the request for Extension of Sales Office Permit by Casuarina was called to order at 1:30 P. M. by Mayor Louis Y. Horton in the Town Commission Chambers at Highland Beach Town Hall. Also present were: Vice Mayor Mary Louise G. Blosser, Commissioners John J. Basso and William E. Paul. Commissioner Betty Jean Stewart was absent. Also present were: Town Attorney Thomas E. Sliney, Acting Town Manager Mary Ann Whaley, citizens, and general public. The Mayor announced that this Public Hearing was called to consider a request for Special Exception under Section 9 of Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of Highland Beach, Florida, made by Casuarina, a Joint Venture, regarding Town Lot No. 88 West, requesting renewal of a permit for a Sales Office. There were no statements or objections raised by representatives of Casuarina, members of the Town Commission, or the general public at this time. It was noted, according to a memorandum dated August 21, 1984 from Irving Saunders, Chairman of the Planning Board, that this request for a special exception was recommended for approval by that board. MOTION was made by Commissioner Basso /Vice Mayor Blosser that the Special Exception request, applied for by Casuarina, be approved. All members of the Town Commission voted AYE. There being no further business to come before the Town Commission at this Public Hearing, the same was adjourned at 1:40 P. M. APPROVED: Louis Y. orton, Mayor �( ►ko Cam.
