Discussion was then held regarding a request of Mr. and Mrs. William Field who live on Tranquility Drive to place an "Open House" sign at the entrance to the Bel Lido subdivision. It was noted that the Town Code did not provide for such a sign and there- fore a special exception was being requested. Commissioner Stewart stated that it was her opinion that the other residents in the Bel Lido area were entitled to an unmarred, beautiful entrance and therefore did not feel that the exception was warranted. Mr. and Mrs. Field were advised that the Town Code as written was an effort to alleviate any discrimination throughout the Town regarding "Open House" signs and therefore it was the consensus of the Town Commission that the request be disapproved. The next matter before the Town Commission was the Planning Commission's referral of their recommendation of 3/26/84 to disapprove plans as submitted for sites "B" and "C" at Boca Highland.
