Harmon, Piekoell, Smith, Totterdale and Hert* g as well as Comm.- .elect Skill- n and the Election Board.. Mr. George S. Kinsey, Clerk of the,Election Board presented itts' certification of the election results of the election held on May 6, 1952 which were as fellows: A total of 22 ballets were voted in the election and the tabulation of same was as follows Robert Totterdale for Mayor Commissioner..... ....22 Votes J. Morris Smith for Vice Mayor- Comm.issioner....21 votes Rudolph W. Hertwig for Town Clerk- Commissioner...22 v ©t John F. Harmon for Town Commissioner.... .22 votes Roger M. Skillman for Town. Upon examination theAelection board's certification and the attached papers were fotxnci to be in o r�er and correct and the members of the Town Commta.ssion found them son' All members *ere sent, a e: Ma 'or Tetterdale, Vice Mayor Smith. & Comm. .Harmon, P1 kWell and Hertwig Comma Smith thereupon offered and moved the adoption of RESOLUTION N0. 28,_ BE IT RESOLVED by the Town`Zommi.ssion of the Town of Highland g Beach Florida, that the certification of the Election Officials as to the results'af the General Election held in the Town. of Highland Beach, Florida, on,May 6, 1952 be and they hereby are found to be true and correct. That the Town Commission has carefully canvassed said election returns and finds the results to be as follows: Robert Totterdale for Mayor Commissioner... ......,22 votes J. Mayor Totterdale stated that the Election Board members had been very unselfish in giving their services to the,�Town in connection with a thankless and tiresome task and Yx Comm.` Harmon moved that a vote of thanks be extended to Mr. George S. Kinseg Clerk of the Electon and to the Inspectors of .Election, Mrs•Wauneta B. Skillman, Mrs Elizabeth A. Weber and Mr Robert Flandreaux. The motion was seconded by`Comm; V Hertwi.g and adopted by affirmative votes of all five commissioners present.. Cc ga Hertwig moved that the Commission extend its appreciation to Mr *±H. H. Pick ell for his'able and conscientious service as Town Commissioner during recent months. The motion was seconded by Comm` Harmon and approved by afirmative votes of all five Commis.. sinners present.` The members of the commission.v�ere_unanik©us in asking that Mr Pick* ell co his active interest in To n af= fairs and attend tnenCcission meetings as often as possible to give the Commissioners the benefit of his advice sand counsel.
