The meeting was called to order- by Mayor Totterdale At 8 p.m Present were Coffin. P:Lck* ell, Smi.�th, Totterdale aid Hert* g. Comm. Harmon was absent. The audience consisted of Mrs. Mevi lda Peckham and a Mr. Irvine. Minutes of the meeting of January 7th were read and approved on mot3oa of Comma.. Pickwell,seconded by Comm. Smith and affi- native votes of all four coi:sszoners present. The clerk read letter dated January 16, 1952 from Merilda. Peckham requesting that her property be re- zoned for purposes and Mr Peck] addressed the Comiss on, expla�.ning her reasLgks fbr requesting the change. After considerable discussions Com Herttaig moved that Comm. Pickmell and Haiwoh be appointed a committee to investigate the question from all angles and report their f- ndiflgs to the commission. at the next meeting or sooner if possible. The motion was seconded by Comm. Smith and adopted by affirmative votes of a.11 four Comaissioneref present. The clerk read letter dated February 1, 1952 from HoVard Z. Cromer, contractor, concerning his failure to c ©llect bills fer ©rk dome to repair damage to the water main and. valves. Comm. Hertvig said he believed the work in front of Box*ood Terrace would be paid for in the near future. By general agreement Cons. Pickaell was desig- nated to see Mr Frank Baader about the instances Where damage eras caused to the ma.is in front of his jobs. Congo Hertxig moved that he be authorized to have W. H. Kirk eke necessary m!Aor repairs, at nominal coat, to several of the mater meters. The motion was seconded by Comm. P ckwell and passed by affirmative votes of all four commissioners present. 4 On notion of Comm. Smith, seconded by Comm* e -1 . Pick1 and passed by affirmative votes of all four commissioners present, the Treasurer, was authorized nand directed to payy current g due accounts as foil ®mss; W. H. Kirk-' Ho rd L. Mayor Totter-dale stated he had been approached by persons interested is buying water for a project outside the To*. limits. After some discussion it star generally agreed he could represent the position of the Town as being willing to sell water outside the Tow limits at a reasonable price provided the exact arrangement Were such as wou- d fully protect the interest of the town taxpayers.
