That the otate Road _�epartr?ent at its annual meeting in January, 1952, appropriate funds for the construction, in 1952, of improvements along Atlantic Fivenue from U. S. Highvsy _ o, 1 to Ocean Boulevard, such improvements to consist of new pavement, side,-, lks and storm se Ters to conform,. ri th and be uniform t -rich the construc- tion of the Atlantic Avenue Bridge and its approaches. 2 That a contract for said proposed improvement along the a- fore -said loortions of tlantic Avenue be let at the sane time as a contract is let for the approaches to said bridge, and that in the_ letting of said contract, a provision be made that all of the work along atlantic ?venue shall be completed by the contractor at or about the same time as the new- Atlantic Avenue Bridge is completed. 3. That this request is only for approximately fifteen hundred feet of additional new construction and is justified in vieur of the need to the area, and is further justified in view of the great sav- ing to the State, County and City by making this additional construc- tion simultaneously with the improvement of the Atlantic Ave. Bridge. 4. That copies of this resolution be f on to the Chairman of the State Road Department Honorable Wilfred a. IvIcKethan, and to the. Honorable lierrill P. Barber, member of the State Road Department for the .FourthnDistrict and „to the Board of i;ounty Com- missioners, Palm Beach County, ilorida. On motion of Cor.� Harrion, seconded by CoFmn• Piclvrell and passed by affirmative votes of all five commissioners present, the clerk ms authorized to spend between Five and Eight dollars to'-have papers and litter picked up from the shoulders of State Road AlA. AFter the reading of the ordinance and a general discussion of same Comm. Harmon roved that the Ordinance #110 be approved on this it's second reading. Coma. Smith seconded the notion and it teas passed by affirmative votes of all five commissioners present.
