1963.09.03_TC_Minutes Minutes. H ighland Beach Town Commission. September 3,1963. (A regular monthly meeting.) The meeting was called to order by Vice -Mayor Turner at 7;a0 p.m. on September 3, 1963; also present were Commis Beekman, Jones and Noble and Town Manager Hertwig. Mayor Eypel was absent. Minutes of the meetings of the Equalization Board on Tax Assessments held on July 9, 1963 and August 6, 1963, as well as the regular meet - ing of the Town Commission held on August 6, 1963, were read and ap- proved on motion of Comm. Jones, seconded by Comm. Beekman and the affirmative votes of Commtrs Beekman, Jones, Noble and Turner. Town Manager Hertwig advised that although Mayor Eypel could not be present at this meeting he had stated that he had no changes to sug- gest concerning the tentative budget previously submitted. The mem- bers of the Commission then discussed the said budget and considered the various items and had no changes they wished made and so the Town Manager read the following resolution concerning the budget. TOWN OF HIGHLAND BEACH, FLORIDA. RESOLUTION NO. 122. APPROVING THE FINAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR STARTING NOVEMBER 1, 1963 & SETTING TAX MILLAGE on 1963 TAX ROLL. WHEREAS the Mayor has submitted a statement of estimated revenue and expense for the fiscal year starting November 1, 1963 which statement appears on the following page of this resolution; AND WHEREAS said statement has been carefully considered by the Town Commission of the Town of Highland Beach, and is believed to truly represent the expected income and expense of the Town of HiE3hland Beach, Florida, for the fiscal year starting November 1, 1903; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Commission of the Town of Highland Beach, Florida, that the statement as it appears on the following page of this resolution be, and it hereby is, approved as the Final Budget of the Town of Highland Beach for the fiscal year starting November 1, 1963; AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the total tax millage of 3.4 mills, as recommended and specified in said statement, is hereby approved as the correct millage to be collected by the Tax Collector on the Tax Assessment Roll for the year 1963.
