The Town of Highland Beach has reviewed the development proposed by the Hidden Harbor Development for the east side of A1A in the Town as submitted to your Bureau (the "Proposed Development"). The Town has no objection to the Proposed Development. The Town is obligated by a 1995 federal court order and settlement stipulation to amend the Town's comprehensive plan for the subject property. Hidden Harbor's Proposed Development is consistent with the comprehensive plan land use designation which the Town is required to establish for the property pursuant to the court order. In the meantime, the subject court order and stipulation allow the property owner to proceed with the Proposed Development prior to the adoption of the required comprehensive plan amendment. Should you have any questions, please contact our office. Sincerely yours, ~~~- Arlin G. Voress Mayor AGV/skg "Tree City U.S.A."
