CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD
REGULAR MEETING
Wednesday, December 21, 2011 9:30 AM
Members Present: Chair Louis Reidenberg; Vice Chair Paul Resnick; Board Member
Ron Brown; Board Member Tim Burnich; Board Member Mark Diamond and Board
Member Michael Kravit. Members Absent: Board Member Don Gill. Also Attending:
Town Attorney Tom Sliney, Deputy Town Clerk Valerie Oakes and members of the
general public.
CALL TO ORDER:
Chair Reidenberg called the Regular Meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. Roll call was taken by
the Deputy Town Clerk followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
ADDITIONS, DELETIONS OR ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA:
Chair Reidenberg called for any additions, deletions or acceptance of the agenda. The
agenda was accepted as presented.
PUBLIC COMMENTS:
None.
PRESENTATIONS:
9 Announcement: Welcome New Board Members Ron Brown and Michael Kravit
Chair Reidenberg welcomed board members Ron Brown and Michael Kravit.
0 Announcement: One (1) Vacancy on the Code Enforcement Board
Chair Reidenberg announced there are no vacancies on the Board.
* Town's Three -Year Strategic Plan, Planning Board Member Ron Clark
Chair Reidenberg introduced Planning Board Member Ron Clark. Mr. Clark explained
the process of the Town's Three -Year Strategic Plan, and welcomed ideas from the Code
Enforcement Board.

The Board discussed adding the following items to the Town's Three-year Strategic Plan
Master Wish List:
• Install residential street signs that are the same color and size.
• Review ordinances pertaining to mailboxes as some could potentially be
hazardous.
• Enforce the "No Parking" law on the grass strips.
• Hire a full-time, permanent building official instead of sub -contracting the
position.
• Distribute monthly status reports on code violations to the Code Enforcement
Board. (Possibly apply to all boards).
• Purchase Milani Park, and build a Town park.
• Distribute an annual recommendation from the Fire Department directed to the
condominiums regarding their responsibilities. Include what they should do in
case of a fire.
• Enforce laws pertaining to bicyclists riding more than two abreast.
• Resurface the walking path.
By consensus, the Board agreed to invite Craig Hartmann, Police Chief, to attend their
next regular meeting.

MOTION: Board Member Burnich moved to approve the minutes of August 08, 2011.
Vice Chair Resnick seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

Chair Reidenberg called for a motion to approve the 2012 meeting schedule.
MOTION: Board Member Burnich moved to approve the 2012 meeting schedule as
needed. Board Member Diamond seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business, Chair Reidenberg called for a motion to adjourn the
meeting at 10:30 a.m.
MOTION: Vice Chair Resnick moved to adjourn the meeting at 10:30 a.m. Board
Member Burnich seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
