MINUTES OF TOWN COMMISSION MEETING
PUBLIC HEARING
Friday, September 07, 2001 5.01 P.M
Mayor Thomas J. Reid called the Public Hearing to order at 5:03 P.M. in Commission
Chambers.
Deputy Town Clerk Jane Dillon called the roll. The Mayor, Vice Mayor Michael W. Hill,
and Commissioner Robert L. Lowe were present. Commissioner John J. Sorrelli and
Rachael Scala-Pistone were absent.
Town Attorney Thomas E. Sliney, Town Manager Ben Saag and Finance Director Stan
Novak were also present.
Mayor Reid advised the purpose of the Public Hearing was to obtain public input into the
Town's tentative budget and proposed millage rate for the fiscal year 2001-2002.
As no members of the public came forth, MOTION close the Public Hearing was made
by COMMISSIONER LOWENICE MAYOR HILL. Motion met with unanimous rollcall
• vote.
MOTION to adopt the tentative millage and tentative budget was made by
COMMISSIONER LOWENICE MAYOR HILL. Motion met with unanimous rollcall vote.
Mayor Reid advised that a Special Meeting would be held on Monday, September 17,
2001 at 5:01 p.m. to adopt the final millage rate and budget.
Upon MOTION by COMMISSIONER LOWENICE MAYOR HILL, Mayor Reid adjourned
the Public Hearing at 5:07 P.M.
