2000.07.25_TC_Minutes_SpecialTOWN OF HIGHLAND BEACH MINUTES OF TOWN COMMISSION MEETING • PUBLIC HEARING Tuesday, July 25, 2000 2.20 P.M. Mayor Thomas J. Reid called the advertised Public Hearing to order in Commission Chambers immediately following the Workshop Meeting, and advised its purpose was to receive public input and discuss the following: AN AMENDMENT TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL COORDINATION ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN. Town Clerk Doris M. Trinley called the roll. The Mayor, Vice Mayor Michael W. Hill, and Commissioners John J. Sorrelli, Paul R. Kane and Robert L. Lowe were present. Town Attorney Thomas E. Sliney was also present, as were members of the general public. Town Manager Ben Saag was absent. Town Attorney Sliney advised this amendment to the Comprehensive Plan was needed to comply with new requirements as set forth in Chapter 163 of Florida Statutes. There was no public input and, after some discussion, it was the consensus of the • Commission that Attorney Sliney draft an ordinance reflecting this amendment to be ready for first reading at the August 1, 2000 Regular Meeting. There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, Mayor Reid adjourned the Public Hearing at 2:25 P.M. upon MOTION by COMMISSIONER SORRELLUCOMMISSIONER KANE. dmt APPROVE: r Thomas J.
