Reid called the Special Workshop Meeting to order in Commission Chambers at 1:00 P.M., advising its purpose was to continue review of the revised Zoning Code (Chapter 30). Town Clerk Doris Trinley called the roll. The Mayor, Vice Mayor Michael W. Hill, and Commissioners John J. Sorrelli, Paul R. Kane and Robert L. Lowe were present. Town Attorney Thomas E. Sliney and Town Manager Ben Saag were also present, as were Planning Consultant Marty Hodgkins of Duncan Associates, Building Official Bob Dawson, and members of the general public. After roll call the Pledge of Allegiance was given. Before review continued, Mayor Reid reverted attention to the second page of Table 30-3 (Property Development Regulations) on Page 41, and noted that the maximum building height for RE and RS single family dwellings should both reflect 35'; the members were in agreement. 40 Review proceeded, starting on page 46 (Additional Standards) and continuing to page 60 ("O": Temporary Structures), at which time Mayor Reid called for a 5- minute recess at 2:45 P.M. The Mayor reconvened the Special Workshop at 2:55 P.M., with all previously noted present, and review continued through Page 64 (Supplemental District Regulations; "V": Parking of Major Recreational Equipment and Vehicles). Because the Commission had previously addressed "W" of this Section (Finished Floor Elevation, Building Height, and Exceptions to Building Height [Ordinance No. 681]), the review was taken up again at Section 9 (Off -Street Parking, Loading, and Vehicular Circulation) on Page 67 and brought to conclusion on Page 88, where the text of the revised code ended. All amendments to text and tables agreed upon by the Commission were noted by Mr. Hodgkins and will be incorporated in the final draft. Town Attorney Sliney advised that when he and the Building Official review the final draft, the Commission will be advised, and dates for the required advertised Public Hearings can then be set. There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, Mayor Reid adjourned the Special Workshop Meeting at 4:00 P.M., upon MOTION by VICE MAYOR HILL/COMMISSIONER SORRELLI. dmt • Minutes of Town Commission Special Workshop Meeting May 23, 2000 Page 2 of 2 Attest: Date: APPROVE: A ClyY!
