Boulay called the Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Retirement Board, Town of Highland Beach, Florida, to order at 1:15 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at Town Hall. Others present were Vice Mayor Bill Paul, Commissioner Arthur Eypel, Police Officer Stephen Gure, and Employee Repre- sentative Ethel Lenhardt. Also present were Finance Director Michael Seaman, Town Manager Mary Ann Mariano, Town Clerk Anne M. Kowals, and members of the general public. The Agenda was accepted as submitted. Minutes of the February 25, 1992 Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Retirement Board were approved upon MOTION by EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATIVE ETHEL LENHARDT/VICE MAYOR BILL PAUL. Same carried unanimously. At this time, Finance Director Michael Seaman, explaining the ICMA • Quarterly Statement ending 3/31/92, noted the Town has an invest- ment of approximately $307,000. in the 401 (k) plan and approxi- mately $254,000. invested in the 457 deferred plan. The Finance Director advised that the updated interest rates for year to date through May, 1992, are as follows: Growth Stock Fund declined . . . . . . . 10.7% Index Fund earned . . . . . . . . . . . .43% Asset Allocation declined. . . . . . . . .69% Bond Fund earned . . . . . . . . . . . . 41 % Cash Management Fund earned. . . . . . . 1.49% Members were further advised by the Finance Director that for the period of July 1 through December 31, 1992, the minimum rate for the Guaranteed Plus Fund will be 7%. It was noted that, as of June 1, 1992, a new fund, the U. S. Treasury Securities Fund which invests in treasury notes/bills/bonds, has been offered by ICMA; the Finance Director will keep track of the interest rate relating to said fund. A brief discussion regarding the decline of the Growth Stock Fund revealed that fund earned an interest of 50% last year. 40 Board of Trustees of the Retirement Board .
