Absent from this meeting was Regular Member A. Novak.
Also present were Code Enforcement Officer A. Abbate, Recording

Chairman Robinson stated the Minutes of the Regular Meeting should
reflect that the newly appointed Regular Members of the Code Enforcement
Board, Mr. Snyder and Mr. Boulay, were welcomed to the Board.
The Recording Secretary read the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the
Code Enforcement Board held on January 21, 1987.
As there were no additions or corrections to the Minutes, Mr. Boepple
made a MOTION, seconded by Dr. Sieff, to adopt the Minutes of the
Workshop and Regular Meeting of the Code Enforcement Board held on
IsJanuary 21, 1987. All members were in favor of the MOTION.
Chairman Robinson read into the minutes a letter addressed to him, dated
January 29, 1987, from Mr. Edward W. Schmidt, regarding the Knaus
Property. This letter has been made part of the minutes and is on file
with the Knaus records. (A copy of said letter is attached.) The Knaus
matter has been satisfied with the removal of the dock.
Code Enforcement Officer Abbate informed the members that the Knaus dock
was removed on February 16, 1987 and Mr. Gullett received approval of
the two dolphins from the Planning Board at their Regular Meeting on
February 11, 1987. For all intents and purposes, both matters have been
satisfied.
OLD BUSINESS
Chairman Robinson stated that it was suggested at last month's meeting
of the Code Enforcement Board that the members elect a Secretary for
this Board Following a brief discussion, the members said they were
satisfied with the Recording Secretary reading the minutes and it was
not necessary to elect a Board Secretary.

Dear Mr. Chairman;

January 29, 1987
At the last meeting of the Code Enforcement Board I stated to you that the pro-
perty of Ingrid Knaus referred to above was purchased for $325,000.00. My
information was based upon the reported saled price of $325,000.00 that
was published in the Boca Raton Board of Realtors publication a number of times.
• Mr. Knaus has subsequently shown me papers that show that Mrs. Knaus did
in fact pay $365004,00 for the property.
I am sorry for the incorrect information given to you and appologize for any
misconception that it created and trust this will set the records straight.
