Vice Chairman Robert Myers called the Rego-lar Meeting of the Code En- forcement Board to order at 10:05 A.M. Other members present were Secretary Ellen Gerber and Messrs. Donald Sherbondy, John Chironna, Theodore Boepple and Edward J. Pearlstein (alt.). Also present were Town Attorney Tom Sliney, Building In- spector Anthony Abbate, Jerry Johnson, Recording Secretary Anne Kowals and a few Town residents. Absent from this meeting were Chairman Robert F. Scholz and Mr. Alfred Novak. Secretary Ellen Gerber read the minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 20, 1985. Mr. Donald Sherbondy made a MOTION, seconded by Mr. Theodore Boepple, to accept and approve the minutes of the Workshop and Regular Meetings of February 20, 1985, as written. All members were in favor. • OLD BUSINESS Citation ##2246 - James A. Barry - Removing trees without a permit. Code Enforcement Officer Anthony Abbate said this matter is being corrected. Delray Nursery is com- pleting the planting and landscaping today. This citation is considered satisfied. Citation ##2247 - Jerry Johnson - Seawall in need of repair. Code Enforcement Officer Anthony Abbate advised the members this matter was turned over to the Town Attorney. After some research, Attorney Tom Sliney determined Jerry Johnson owns 1100 B High- land Beach Drive. Dr. A. Jarrett owns 1100 A Highland Beach Drive, the property in disrepair. Attorney Tom Sliney spoke with Dr. A. Jarrett who advised he is coming to Town on Sunday and will contact Code Enforcement Officer Anthony Abbate to remedy the situation. 0 1. .. r CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD Regular Meeting so March 20, 1985 Page 2 of 2 The board members agreed to hold this matter in abeyance to allow Dr. A. Jarrett to comply. It was suggested a citation be issued to Dr. Jarrett as owner of the property, stating he will be sub- ject to a fine if the cohydition is not remedied. Mr. Jerry Johnson informed the Code Enforcement Board Members that a barricade was placed around the dangerous seawall and the area is roped off. The next meeting of the Code Enforcement Board is scheduled for Wed- nesday, April 17, 1985 - the Workshop Meeting at 9:30 A.M. and the Regular Meeting at 10:00 A.M. Secretary Ellen Gerber made a MOTION, seconded by Mr. Theodore Boepple, to adjourn the Regular Meeting. Vice Chairman Robert Myers adjourned the Regul J Meeting at 10:25 A.M.
