CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD
January 18, 1984 Workshop Meeting 9:30 A.M.
Chairman Robert Scholz called the Workshop Meeting to order at 9:30 A.M.
In attendance were: Vice -Chairman Robert Myers; Secretary Ellen Gerber;
John Chironna; Alfred Novak; Donald Sherbondy; Theodore Boepple and
Alternate #$1 Andrew Bennardo. Also present were Elaine W. Roberts,
Town Manager; Tony Abbate, Building Inspector; and Rita Ebersole, Secretary.
Chairman Scholz read the ORDER issued to Mr. James D'Amore, 4207
Tranquility Drive regarding his seawall. Discussion centered on Item
I of the Order which states "immediate measures are to be taken to
prevent further deterioration of the seawall and such measures shall
be approved by a qualified engineer and shall be completed by January
13, 1984."
No immediate measures were taken before January 13, 1984 because
Qualman Marine Construction felt it unnecessary. This Company did,
however, pull a permit for the repair of the D'Amore seawall on
• January 13, 1984. Discussion to continue on this point at the Regular
meeting at 10:00 A.M.
Mr. Scholz inquired about the Browning Citation regarding Recreational
Vehicles and it was decided that this would be discussed at the
Regular meeting.
Mrs. Roberts advised that the recommended changes re recreational
vehicles have been submitted to the Town Commission and this item
is on their agenda for Tuesday, January 31, 1984 Workshop meeting.
Mrs. Gerber mentioned the unsightly condition of the Royal Highlands
Property and beach front. Mr. Abbate said he would write to Attorney
Moss who represents Teron International and felt sure of their
cooperation.

The Workshop meeting adjourned at 10:05 A.M. at which time the
Regular meeting commenced.
