CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD
is January 19, 1983
Workshop Meeting 9:_30 A.M.
Chairman Soll Roehner called the Workshop Meeting to order at 9:30 A.M.
Those in attendance were: Chairman Soll Roehner, Robert Scholz, John
Chironna, Ellen Gerber, Albert Approbato, Robert Myers, William E. Paul,
and Alfred Novak. Mr. Sherbondy was absent.
Also in attendance were Elaine W. Roberts, Town Manager; Thomas Sliney,
Town Attorney; Tony Abbate, Code Enforcement Officer; and Rita Ebersole,
Deputy Town Clerk.
Mrs. Gerber read the minutes of the Workshop meeting of December 15, 1982.
Violation #02198 - James G. McKay - Third Wind, 4217 S. Ocean Blvd.
Chapter 21-1 Approvals required for bulkheads,
seawalls, retaining walls. Chapter 30, 5-16(b) no
approval for design.
Mr. Abbate submitted pictures and advised that Mr. McKay had not applied
for a permit for these major repairs as required in the Town's Code.
Mr. McKay was also in violation with the Department of Natural Resources
and had recently submitted a request for application forms. Mr. McKay
advised the Board by letter that he would be out of town at the time of
this meeting.
The consensus was to let the Department of Natural Resources decide on
this matter, with the Town following up their decision.
The Workshop Meeting adjourned at 10:00 A.M. at which time the
Regular Meeting commenced.
