TOWN OF HIGHLAND BEACH
PLANNING BOARD
PUBLIC HEARING/SPECIAL MEETING
Tuesday, May 25, 1993 9 45 A.M.
Because it was necessary for Chairman Robert L. Lowe to contact Town
Attorney Thomas E. Sliney by phone with a question concerning the
legality of conducting the Public Hearing at this time for the reason
noted in the following paragraph, there was a delay in calling it to
order; the Chairman did so at 9:45 A.M., rather than 9:30 A.M., in
Commission Chambers.
At that time, Chairman Lowe announced that the Public Hearing/Special
Meeting was cancelled due to lack of quorum. He added that a new date
would have to be set; once the date was decided, the necessary publi-
cations would have to be done again.
For the record, in addition to Chairman Lowe, Members Frank L.
CoIaruIIo and Leonard D. Bell were present. Vice Chairman Arthur R.
Keller and Members Paul R. Kane, Jr., James F. Morrill and William
Maltz were absent. It was, therefore, not possible to set a new
meeting date at this time.
