MINUTES: PLANNING COMMISSION/LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY, TOWN OF HIGHLAND
BEACH, FLORIDA. PUBLIC HEARING. APRIL 11, 1984. ZONING
REVISIONS, CHAPTER 30, CODE OF ORDINANCES.
• Chairman Eugene L. Snyder called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m., ad-
vising this was a Public Hearing, with due public notice, called to re-
view the proposed recommendations for Zoning revisions. The recording
secretary called the roll. The agenda is attached.
Present: R. F. Blosser, W. J. Wernecke, I. S. Saunders,
D. R. Rome, E. L. Snyder, M. A. Waldman, Alt.
Town Manager E. W. Roberts informed Chairman Snyder that Mr. Ron Hoggard
Gee & Jenson representative had advised he would not be present at the
Public Hearing and was forwarding copies of the final draft of Zoning
Revisions for examination by the Planning Commission. Chairman Snyder
called for a recess of the Public Hearing pending arrival of the draft
copies. The Public Hearing was recessed at 9:45 a.m. Upon receipt of
copies of the formal draft of Zoning Revisions, the review of proposed
changes continued.
At the conclusion of the review, time was made available for comments
by the public. There were no residents in attendance.
Chairman Snyder called for a motion to approve the recommended changes
in the Zoning Ordinance. Motion was made by Mrs. Rome to submit a
letter advising the Town Commission that pursuant to the requirements
of Florida State Statutes and Chapter 30, Code of Ordinances, Town of
Highland Beach,Florida, the Planning Commission/Local Planning Agency
has reviewed the Zoning Ordinance ##336, adopted by the Town Commission
on June 12, 1978, and held a Public Hearing on April 11, 1984, to con-
sider proposed Zoning Revisions.
The final report is submitted with the Planning Commission's recommen-
dation for review by the Town Commission. Mr. Saunders seconded the
motion. Mrs. Rome voted aye, Mr. Saunders, voted aye, Mr. Blosser voted
aye, Mr. Wernecke, voted aye, Mr. Snyder voted aye. Copy of the trans-
mittal letter is attached. Town Attorney Thomas E. Sliney noted there
were no further changes in the Zoning Map.
ADJOURNMENT
Chairman Snyder called for a motion to adjourn the Public Hearing. Mrs.
Rome moved to adjourn, Mr. Wernecke, seconded the motion. Mr. Blosser
voted aye, Mr. Wernec e, aye, Mr. Saunders, aye, Mrs. Rome aye and Chair-
man Snyder, aye. T Public Hearing was adjourned at
