MILANI "CORONA DEL MAR" PROJECT. • Chairman G. P. Weiss called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m., advising this is a regular meeting of the Planning Commission/Local Planning Agency, Town of Highland Beach, Florida. Dr. Weiss advised that minutes to be approved will be presented at the next scheduled meeting. The recording secretary called the roll. The agenda is attached. Present: W. J. Wernecke, C. Nastri, E. L. Snyder, I. S. Saunders, Dr. G. C. Linn, Dr. G. P. Weiss SITE PLAN REVIEWS Building Official F. Hamzik presented new plans submitted for the"Corona del Mar" project. Dr. Richard Orman, Mr. Digby C. Bridges, Mr. James Baretta, Mr. R. Vaughn and Mr. C. D. Milani were present. "CORONA DEL MAR." PHASE ONE (1). LOTS 4 & 5 EAST. BUILDING "B" Following examination of new plans submitted by C. D. Milani, Mr. Saunders moved to approve site plan for PHASE ONE (1), LOTS 4 & 5 EAST, subject to provision set forth in letter from Mayor L. Y. Horton, dated June 22, 1982, with reference to Zoning in progress. Second Mr. Snyder. Mr. Wernecke voted aye, Mr. Nastri, aye, Mr. Snyder, aye, Mr. Saunders, aye and Dr. Weiss, aye. • "CORONA DEL MAR". PHASE TWO (2). LOTS 4 & 6 WEST BUILDING "A" Mr. Vaughn and Mr. Baretta spoke relative to recommendations made by the Community Appearance Board regarding recessed windows, roof lines and landscaping. Following the examination of plans for PHASE TWO (2). Mr. Saunders moved to approve the site plans as amended for PHASE TWO (2) LOTS 4 & 6 WEST, subject to Mayor Horton's letter dated June 22, 1982, subject Zoning in progress. An easement is to be provided for PHASE TWO (2) WEST, for access from AlA to the beach area located at the south end of LOTS 4 & 5 EAST Mr. Wernecke voted aye, Mr. Nastri, aye, Mr. Snyder, aye, Mr. Saunders, aye and Dr. Weiss, aye. The easement is indicated on the plans. At the conclusion of the review of plans Mr. Saunders moved that the "Corona del Mar" project is to be developed in two phases, PHASE ONE (1) and PHASE TWO (2). LOTS 4 & 5 EAST, will be considered PHASE ONE (1) EAST. LOTS 4 & 6 WEST, will be considered PHASE TWO (2) WEST. These will be considered under the same conditions as long as substantial ongoing construction is in progress. Chairman Weiss called for a vote on the motion. Mr. Snyder seconded the motion. AUGUST 11, 1982. REGULAR MEETING SITE PLAN REVIEW. C. D. MILANI "CORONA DEL MAR" PROJECT. Dr. Richard Orman spoke relative to a request by Mr. C. D. Milani, for approval to provide a large commemorative placque at the Jap Rock Site, where the Florida coastline begins the curve toward the southwest, in- dicating the names of the Board and Commission members involved in the development of this area. Dr. Orman advised that application would be made to the necessary governmental agencies for all necessary approvals. Town Manager E. W. Roberts commented on information contained in a Dwell- ing Units report, revised as of August 6, 1982, copy attached. At the conclusion of the review of the Dwelling Units report, Chairman Weiss advised this regular meeting to be recessed until Wednesday, Aug- ust 18, 1982, at 9:30 a.m. APPROVED: Dr. G. P.
