REVIEW OF _PROPOSED REVISIONS TO CHAPTER 30, ZONING, CODE OF ORD- INANCES, TOWN OF HIGHLAND BEACH. APRIL 8, 1981 • Chairman Johnson called the Public Hearing to order, advising this Hearing is held to consider the proposed Capital Improvements Program, Highland Beach, Florida, and to review the proposed revisions to Chapter 30, Zon- ing, of the Code of Ordinances, Town of Highland Beach, Florida, as re- quested by the Town Commission, Section 4.1(b), Section 4.4(e)(1)(A); Section 4.5 (e) (1) (A) ; Sections 4.3 (e) (10) , 4.4 (e) (10) , and 4.5 (e) (10) , Section 8.4 Para. 2; Section 10; Section 13. The recording secretary called the roll. The agenda is attached. Proof of publication of the public notice was presented. Present: N. M. Johnson, B. S. Stephenson, E. J. Sullivan, J. M. Farrin, R. B. Myers, R. K. Wagy, (Alt.) Chairman Johnson noted that the Town Commission has accepted the resignation of Mr. Walter Bonny, Secretary of the Planning Commission Chairman Johnson advised the first order of business to be the consideration of the proposed Capital Improvements Plan for the Town of Highland Beach. Mr. Sullivan moved that the Capital Improvements Plan, as outlined at a previous meeting of the Planning Commission, be approved. Mr. Stephenson .seconded the motion. Mr. Stephenson, Mr. Sullivan, Adm. Farrin, Mr. Myers and Chairman Johnson, voted aye. The Town Commission will be advised of this action, letter attached. Chairman Johnson noted Sections of the Code of Ordinances, Zoning, Town of Highland Beach, Florida, to be revised: SECTION 4.1(b) Motion: Adm. Farrin Delete "Private recreat- Second: E.J.Sullivan ional uses from Accessory Uses." All aye votes: E.J.Sullivan, B.S.Stephenson,J.M.Farrin,R.B. Myers, N.M. Johnson. SECTION 4.4(e)(1)(A) Motion:E.J.Sullivan Delete bonus proviso as SECTION 4.5(e)(1)(A) Second:N.M.Johnson stated in this section. All aye votes: E.J.Sullivan,B.S.Stephenson,J.M.Farrin,R.B. Myers, N.M.Johnson. SECTION 13 Motion: Add: "CABANAS": An DEFINITIONS Second: enclosure not to exceed 150 square feet, such enclosure may be per- mitted to contain such facilities as showers, bathrooms, wash basins, and wet bar. Such en- closures are not intended as overnight occupancy either by guest or title holder. Such enclosures shall be classed as an accessory structure. SECTION 5.3(e) Motion:J.M.Farrin Second:E.J.Sullivan ADJOURNMENT No non-commercial TV (dish) antennae greater than four (4) feet in diameter and/or antenna masts exceeding ten (10) feet above roof line (heights) shall be erected unless approved by the Town Commission as a Special Exception and the Community Appearance Board. Mr. Sullivan moved to adjourn the Public Hearing, Mr. Myers seconded the motion. Mr. Johnson, Mr. Myers, Adm. Farrin, Mr. Stephenson, Mr. Sullivan voted aye.
