Chairman Boscove called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m., advising this was a regular meeting of the Planning Commission. The Agenda is Attach- ment "A". The recording secretary called the roll. Present: L. 0. Edlund, N. M. Johnson, J. A. Boscove, J. M. Farrin, R. B. Myers, W. Bonny (Alt.) and J. J. Basso, (Alt.). MINUTES Chairman Boscove noted the first order of business to be approval of the minutes of the meetings of March 19, 1980, previously examined. Mr. Johnson moved to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held March 19, 1980, Mr. Edlund seconded. Mr. Edlund, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Boscove, Mr. Myers and Adm. Farrin voted aye for approval. Mr. Johnson moved to approve the minutes of the public hearing held on March 19, 1980, Mr. Edlund seconded. Mr. Edlund, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Boscove, Mr. Myers and Adm. Farrin voted aye for approval. The minutes were approved as presented. Chairman Boscove advised there were no site plan reviews to be examined. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Chairman Boscove noted that at the last meeting the subject of the time •sharing/interval ownership housing concept being developed in the area was discussed. Chairman Boscove called upon Town Attorney Thomas E. Sliney for information relative to this type of development. Attorney Sliney noted that the concept of interval ownership is becoming popular in other communities, and indicated that the usage of such a development could have commercial overtones. Mr. Boscove noted that Town Board Commissioner Genovese had written a letter concerning the subject of interval ownership and Town Manager E. W. Roberts had written a letter asking the Planning Commission to discuss the matter. Attachments "B", and "C". Members agreed that a precise definition of "time sharing" was needed. Following discussion of the time sharing/interval ownership concept, Town Attorney Sliney agreed to explore the subject further and advise the members of the Planning Commission at a later date. Mr. Myers moved to have the record indicate that the members of the Planning Commission oppose multiple ownership on a time sharing/interval ownership basis. Mr. Johnson seconded.
