Chairman Boscove called the meeting to order at 7:36 p.m., advising this was a workshop meeting of the Planning Commission, called to discuss pro- posed zoning changes. The Agenda is Attachment "A". The recording secretary called the roll. Present: J. A. Boscove, N. M. Johnson, R. B. Myers, J. M. Farrin. Absent: L. 0. Edlund, W. Bonny, C. B. Blankenship. In audience were Town Attorney T. E. Sliney and F. Hamzik, Building Official. Chairman Boscove noted the following proposed changes in Zoning Ordinance #336: 4.1(e)(9) Following "perimeter", add, "limited to two habitable 4.2 (e) (10) floors." 4.1(e)(11) Add "Parking can be included as part of the first 4.2(e)(12) floor area." 4.3(e)(12) 4.4(e) (12) • 4.3(e)(10)RML2 Following "above", add "if the structure is one 4.4(e)(10)RMM (1) or two (2) stories, then the structure is 4.5(e)(10)RMH limited to a maximum of thirty-five (35) feet. This thirty-five (35) feet is measured from the mean finished grade at the building perimeter. If the parking structure is not entirely beneath the main structure, it must be attached at a mini- mum of 25/ of the main structure to which it is attached." It was recommended that two examples of interpretation if this section be included in the revision of the zon%ing ordinace. 4.3(e)(16)RML2 Include all of para. 4.4(e)(16). 4.4(e)(16)RMM Delete "All other requirements must be met." 4.5 (e) (16)RMH ,f " If " 11 „ „ 5.3(b) Delete entire paragraph. 5.3(c) Delete "pool", preceding "decks", lines 1,4,5,6. Delete "5.3(d)", insert "5.3(c)". 5.3(e) Delete "5.3(e)", insert "5.3(d)". 5.9(a) Following "another", add "in all districts not RS and RML paved surfaces are limited to the required off-street parking area facilities as required above." 5.12(c) Delete diagram on page 30-35 and 30-36. Insert new diagram, illustrating revised Sec. 5.13(c) and (d). 5.16(b)(4) Following "m.s.l.", insert "in RS and RML 1" 13.2 Accessory use or structure. Following line three (3), "walls", insert "and foundations". 4.1(c) Delete, not applicable to RS District. 4.1(d) Delete "Not". • 4.6(c) GSD DISTRICT 4.1c, 4.3c, Delete 4.4c, 4.5c " ADJOURNMENT At the conclusion of the review of the proposed zoning changes it was agreed that a public hearing will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 1079, at 8:00 a.m. for the purpose of examining these proposed recommendations for change and a public hearing for the purpose of considering the change of zoning for Town Lot #72 from RMM, Residential Multiple Family, Medium Density to GSD, Government Service District. The next regular meeting of the Planning Commission is scheduled for Wednesday, October 10, 1979, at 7:00 p.m. preceding the scheduled Public Hearings.
