1977.10.05_PB_Minutes_RegularMINUTES: LOCAL LAND PLANNING AG NCY/PLANNING COMMISSION, REGULAR MEETING, OCTOBER 5, 1977. •Chairman Boscove called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m., advising this was a Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission, called to further review existing zoning codes and to consider possible changes. The Agenda is Attachment "A". The recording secretary called the roll. Present: J. A. Boscove, N. M. Johnson, J. M. Farrin, R. B. Myers, H. C. Storm (Alternate). Absent: A. Allen, 0. Edlund MINUTES The minutes of the meetings of September 7, 1977, and September 21, 1977, were presented for examination and approval. It was agreed that approval of the minutes would be voted upon at the conclusion of the discussion of the zoning code revisions. UNFINISHED BUSINESS A revision of Sec. 3., 3.1, titled "SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS", page 30-7, pre- pared by Adm. Farrin, was examined. Attachment "D". Page 30-7 is Delete "SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS" insert "CONDITIONAL USE" Add the following to Attachment "D", revision Para. 1. add All Conditional Uses may be permitted if approved by the Planning Commission and the Town Commission. Line 18 add Nonconforming structures and uses are subject to Conditional Use designations. Line 23 add Private clubs must meet lot coverage, yard requirements and other requirements of the zoning ordinance. Such clubs will be permitted only in multiple family units with a minimum of 100 units. The Commission discussed Sec. 4., "Schedule of District Regulations - Page 30-9, Sec. 4 Refer to Dr. Orman. Sec. 7.3.(e) Refer to Dr. Orman re: relocating in Zoning Code The Commission discussed the Headings for Sec. 7.3., 7.4., and 7.5., and recommended referring to Dr. Orman for examination. • At the conclusion of the zoning review and discussion, members of the Commission examined the letter received from Acting Mayor Robert D. It was unanimously agreed that a letter be sent to Acting Mayor Clark advising that the members of the Planning Commission had voted to convey their thanks to the Town Commission and to decline the remuneration as mentioned in Acting Mayor Clark's letter dated September 20, 1977. Mr. Johnson moved to accept the minutes of September 7, 1977, and Sept- ember 21, 1977. Mr. Myers seconded. The minutes were approved as pre- sented. Adm. Farrin offered the motion to adjourn.
