1976.03.09_PB_Minutes_Regularr MINUTES: PLANNING COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING - MARCH 9 1976. iA • Chairman Boscove called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m., advising this was a Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission. The agenda is attachment "A". The secretary called the roll: Present: J. A. Boscove, N. M. Johnson, A. Allen, R. B. Myers, J. M. Farrin, F. M. Johnson (Alternate). Absent: E. A. Potere (Alternate). Mr. John P. O'Grady, Building Official was in audience. MINUTES Chairman Boscove advised the first order of business to be approval of the minutes of the meeting of February 10, 1976. Minutes having been previously examined, reading thereof was waived. Adm.Farrin offered the motion to approve the minutes as presented. Mrs. Allen seconded. The minutes were unanimously accepted as presented. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Mr. N. M. Johnson read the proposed Zoning Ordinance changes with the estimated re- ductions in population density. RM 2 no change population reduction 0 RM 2A it " 0 • RM 3 65 units " 114 RM 3A 78 units " 137 RM 4 TR 55 units " 90 TOTAL 198 units' 341 population reduction. The Commission noted that at the meeting of January 13, 1976, it was tentatively agreed to change Lots 68 to 124 inclusive, East of AlA to RM 2, LUI 54, Maximum units per acre, 20. Lots 46 to 105 inclusive, West of AlA to RM 2A, LUI 57, Maximum units per acre, 20. A recommendation was -made to eliminate current district designations 3, 3A, TR and RM 40 and change the LUI's for PUD's from 57 to 60. A general discussion followed relative to possible changes in Lots 110, 112 and 113, and the effects upon future building if TR zoning were eliminated. The consensus was to consider the elimination of TR zoning. Following further discussion of zoning changes it was agreed that John P. O'Grady, Building Official be requested to provide the Planning Commission with information showing what effect the elimination of bonuses would have on maximum densities in RM 2 and RM 3 Districts in the Town.
