MINUTES: PLANNING COMMISSION - REGULAR MEETING - OCTOBER 15, 1975.
Chairman Boscove called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m., advising
• this was a Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission. The secretary
called the roll. The agenda is attachment "A".
Present: A. Allen, N. M. Johnson, J. A. Boscove,
F. M. Johnson (2nd Alternate).
Absent: R. B. Myers, J. M. Farrin, E. A. Potere (lst
Alternate) .
In audience were Town Manager E. W. Roberts, Town Attorney T. E.
S liney.
MINUTES
Minutes of the following meetings having been previously examined,
reading thereof was waived -
Workshop Meeting - September 16, 1975
Regular Meeting - September 16, 1975
Workshop Meeting - October 8, 1975
Mrs. Allen offered the motion to approve the minutes as presented,
Mr. N. M. Johnson seconded the motion. Mrs. Allen, Mr. Johnson, Mr.
• Boscove and Col. Johnson voted aye, the minutes were approved as pre-
sented.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
A review of the Planning Commission Procedures being prepared by Mrs.
Allen was tabled, will be presented at a Workshop Meeting to be held
at a future date.
NEW BUSINESS
Information on the workshops and seminars planned by the University of
Southern Florida at Tampa and the FAU-FIU Joint Center for Environmental
& Urban Problems at the Pine Jog Environmental Sciences Center was dis-
tributed. Discussion followed.
Chairman Boscove advised the matter of updating the Highland Beach
Zoning Ordinance was to be considered in the near future.
Mr. Johnson offered the motion to adjourn, Col. Johnson seconded the
motion. The Regular Meeting was adjourned at 4:55 p.m. The next regu-
lar meeting will be held Tuesday, November 11, 1975, immediately follow-
ing the Workshop Meeting scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on that date.
